Vision Quest and its partners have established a well-defined baseline of need, and a multiple modality structure to treat the children with the most acute eye care challenges. We partner with school districts, county health departments and school personnel throughout the State to identify at-risk children in need of vision care. Vision referrals are checked in office to verify program eligibility, determine the best way to serve each child’s needs, and notify parents of services available to them. In order to meet the unique needs of each child we serve, our staff also maintains both a network of caring and dedicated optometric physicians who provide in-office vision care. For those children with limited or no access to local vision care, FVQ deploys one of their state-of-the-art mobile Vision clinics which travels directly to schools and other facilities to provide on-site comprehensive vision services for children in need. With tremendous efficiency and cost-effectiveness the Mobile Vision Clinic can provide services to a greater number of low income children in our local communities.GET INVOLVED
